1 September 2009

On Sundays 6th and 13th I am playing the organ for the services at St Saviour's Church, Heaton Moor.

Between 14th and 17th I shall be in London rehearsing and recording with Universal Records new singer, Camilla Kerslake.

On 22nd I shall be recording a programme for BBC Radio 3's "The Choir" with Aled Jones.

I am working on a number of arrangements for Camilla Kerslake and for All Angels.

Count me in on the Camilla Kerslake following. It wasn't listed on the Tracklist and I couldn't make out her surname so mailed R2 and they replied with her name.

Terry made reference to gary barlow but still no clues as to where I can get more info about her.

Grrrrrr

She was played again on Wogan this morning, I think it was Belfast child she sang.....WOW what a voice.
Her profile is up on Mercury website now.
Believe me she looks as good as she sounds.
Gary Barlow signed her too his record label after she pestered him to listen to her demo disc.

Big future I think.

Hey Andrew, think it was in the last 1/2 hour, I know it was towards the end, what a voice brings a grown man too tears, grabs you by the soul and rips it out WOW.

Aussie John,
Have a look at the mercury music website, there is a profile of her and a chance to sign up to updates.

Thanks Simon what a talent.

She is signed to Gray Barlow's label. You can pre-order her album (released in november) from Amazon

Yes. Camilla Kerslake has indeed the kind of voice that can hush a crowd or cause it to roar approval, one that can bring tears to the eyes or make the human heart soar. Her voice is coloratura soprano; But the fact is that there isn't a 'kind of' voice like Camilla's.

The debut album from Camilla Kerslake is fantastic. I can't stop listening to it. The Gary Barlow track 'Rule the world', sung in Italian by Camilla is sensational.
Her album even features extra songs for the coming festive season, songs like White christmas song or the very famous AND classic Silent night song.

... I love the album.
